Caroline Ingalls & Concerto Champion at National Horse Show

What an amazing week for Caroline Ingalls and Concerto at the National Horse Show. Not only did she receive champion in the A/O Hunter 18-35, but she also won the stake class with the highest score. What a well deserved win for such a fantastic rider! Recap of Blenheim International Jumping Festival

Wrapping up our show season with Blenheim was a huge success! Caroline Ingalls received Marshall & Sterling 3’6” A/O Grand Champion! Also, Constance Kilmartin won the North American League Adult Jumper West Coast Finals! What huge well deserved accomplishments. Ashely Weiman received Champion when stepping up to the 3’3” A/O hunters, and also welcomed a new member to the family, Incredible Romance. Amber Hunsicker and Una received championship and won the A/A jumper class, as well as earning many ribbons on her other mount Jana. Angela Herring and El Cid won champion in the 3’3” junior hunters and on her other mount, Just like Heaven, she received second in the USEF Hunter Seat Medal. Taylor Loew also had a great two weeks stepping up to the 1.20m, with many placings! Congratulations everyone!

Recap of Showpark Racing Festival

What an extraordinary week 2 at show park for HHS. Our list of Champions this week is long! Constance Kilmartin and Lucent won Champion and the A/A Jumper Classic. Ashely Weiman did a wonderful job on Heavenly Romance and had a clean sweep on her other mount, Timeless Romance in the BES A/O 3’ Hunters earning them champion. Robin Crabtree and Frac Rock started her very first show by winning all classes and receiving champion in the Eq. poles. Trudi Fletcher rode all of her rides; Jessica’s Halo, Jontano, and Joplin (owned by Jenny Mclaughlin) to championship in their respective division. Megan Camaisa and Contariko debuted in the low A/A jumpers and received Reserve Champion. Affair and Lynette Bowman received lots of ribbons and placed 5th in the low A/A Jumper Classic. Amber Hunsicker rode in both hunters and jumpers on Una and Janna receiving many ribbons in both divisions. Trudi Fletcher also rode Luxor, Duo Clinton, and Gee Whiz to wins in their divisions. Jessia Frend-Meyers and Lincourt Lux joined us for a second week from Arizona. Congratulations to everyone, you all did an amazing job!

Recap of Showpark Summer Festival

What a fantastic show Showpark Summer Festival has been for HHS! First Romance, Timeless Romance, and Heavenly Romance all ridden by Ashely Weiman received reserve champion in their divisions. Lucent and Constance Kilmartin won a class in the 1.10m Adult Amateur Jumpers and continued to receive great ribbons. Caroline Labarre and Chacco won many classes and on Carolines second horse Piper, she received many top placings in the jumpers. Quo Libri da Conmene and Gabriella Mejia Ibarra were Champions in the Modified Childrens Jumpers with three first place finishes. Anne Cheatham and Capital Elegance made their debut together and placed in every class. Trudi Fletcher successfully piloted each of her rides: Soldier Boy (owned by Jo Lotsoff), Luxor (owned by Beth Hickson), and Avianna (owned by Jennifer Mclaughlin) to a win in each of their classes. Caroline Ingalls and Concerto certainly came to impress us all! Not only winning every class in the 3’6” A/O hunters, but claiming overall Grand Hunter Champion and placing second in the USHJA National Hunter Derby, wow! Joining us from Arizona, Katie Hefner, Olivia Jacobs, and Jessica Frend-Meyers all had great rounds and good placings on their horses. A congratulations in not only in order for our riders, but Chuy Huerta won a grooming award during the USHJA Hunter Derby. Thank you to all our grooms for the amazing job you do!

Recap of Spruce Meadows Pan American & North American

What an incredible two weeks for HHS at Spruce Meadows! Kicking off week one Hannah Ellerbrock and Lagos had an impressive victory in the 1.30m Jr/AO class out of a field of 60! Angela Herring and El Cid received 5th in the 1m class. Wrapping up Spruce Meadows Pan American week was Trudi Fletcher and Gee Whiz taking 3rd place in the 1.35m. The following week was Jessica Frend-Myers and Lincourt Lux’s time to shine. The pair placed in both 1.20m classes and took 2nd place honors in the 1.25m Mini-Grand Prix! Hannah Ellerbrock and Lagos placed 6th in the 1.30 and were the only Americans to place. Congratulations to all for such a successful and impressive weeks!
